Do you ever just really want to ask people the most random questions? No small talk needed girl. I have a few that I wish I could just straightforwardly ask a stranger or even someone I know. The first is talking about how they met their partner; I love hearing their love story and seeing their eyes light up when they share. I have honestly almost cried when hearing a few of them. The next question I want to ask is what they carry in their bag. Everyone has their own Mary Poppins bag, and I want to know whats in theirs. There’s a lovely lady that regularly comes in to shop at the store I work at. Every time I see her, she’s matching her whole outfit; the earrings match the bag, the bag matches the hair clip, and she is just unique in her own style. She pulled out her card case which was actually a antique cigarette case she found in France, I thought to myself “this is the coolest lady I’ve ever met…”. I love having elevated everyday essentials and items that I have collected from travels, here are a few I love…
Work Bag – I am in love with the structure and look of this bag. I would recommend adding a bag organizer to the bottom so it doesn’t lose shape when you put a laptop in.
Le Labo Hand Cream – I am obsessed with hand creams and this is one of my favorites I keep repurchasing.
Studying Pens – These are the only pens i use for study or writing.
Moleskine Writing Book – I think Moleskine is a classic to have, I love mine.
Chanel Card Holder – I prefer a small card holder over a big wallet, i don’t carry cash anyways.
Mini Tin (Cash Holder) – … But when i do carry cash, i keep it here. I found this case in a French inspired shop in San Francisco and had to have it.
Airpods (Case) – So fun and cute to have, everyone always asks about it.
Key Ring – A simple upgrade from the lanyard or old key chain.
Portable Charger – This is my favorite portable charger I have tried simply because you can plug it into the wall the charge, and no need for the extra wire hanging out.
Hair Clip – Just in case.
Silk Hair Ties – Always need, I prefer the silk hair ties. The only time I wont use them is a workout or when my hair needs to be extra secure.
Evolve Together Face Mask – You never know when you will need it.
Makeup/Touch-up Bag – I think this bag is so cute, and its easy to clean.
Mini Hair Brush – I never thought I needed one until I started carrying one…
Oil Blotting Sheets – A must for me.
Merit Beauty Cheek Stain – I love Merit Beauty, and this product. I use Après and I also use it as a lip stain.
Mini Benefit Cosmetics Mascara – I may be delulu but i feel like mini mascaras work better than a full size. I love this one because it looks natural, doesn’t clump, and it lengthens my lashes.
Chanel Nail Polish – I love keeping my nails short and having a signature color. I carry it for simple touch ups on the go.
Maison Louis Marie Deodorant – I love the fragrance that pairs with this. I also prefer a clear applying deodorant.
Glossier Roller Ball Fragrance – Simple and easy fragrance on the go, my go-to for daytime.
